STEVE'S BIO

Steve James is a singer/songwriter from Dunfermline. He has been developing his craft for over 20 years and gigged hard! He has supported such acts as James Walsh (Starsailor), Chris Helme (Seahorses) and The Skids to name a few. Steve's musical style can be realised from his influences, with Stereophonics and Tom Petty being at the forefront. His sound has been described as melodic pop/rock!

The son of two hairdressers Steve was fortunate that both his Mum and Dad had good taste! everything from Cat Stevens to Led Zep could be heard!! Steve started performing at the age of 10 and continued to develop his love for music over the years!

Steve is an avid Dunfermline Athletic  supporter and back in 2006 In the light of club's financial issues, Steve penned a new fan song. This was the first official Dunfermline Athletic song since the EastEnders themed single back in 1984. The song featured the full 2006 squad, Jim Leishman and Bruce & Jamie Watson (Big Country).
